Naturi to Showcase Handcrafted Sand Pool Technology at Equip Exposition 2026

Naturi Handcrafted Sand Pools is bringing its Italian-engineered pool system to Louisville this month for Equip Exposition 2026. The company will operate a working demonstration pool alongside its indoor booth, giving contractors a closer look at a system designed to resemble a natural swimming lagoon. The exhibition runs October 20–23 at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

In a press release, Naturi Handcrafted Sand Pools announced that it will demonstrate its Sorgiva system at Booth 42109 and in the outdoor demo yard at space 5113D during Equip Exposition 2026. The company is targeting landscape, hardscape, and outdoor-living contractors interested in adding pool construction to their existing services.

A different kind of swimming pool

A Naturi pool is hand-sculpted on site rather than assembled from panels or shotcrete/gunite. Its surface is a hand-troweled blend of quartz and marble aggregates, bound with a two-component resin system and hand-finished, giving the pool the look and feel of a natural swimming lagoon rather than a plaster basin. A beach entry slopes gently into the water the way a shoreline does.

Beneath that surface sits the patented Sorgiva® diffusion network. Water rises through the permeable finish itself instead of being pushed in from wall fittings, which means fewer visible jets and a cleaner line where the pool meets the landscape. Vertical wall construction allows any depth, from a shallow wading shelf to a diving pool, and heated water entering from the floor rises naturally through the body of the pool. Naturi sources materials from Italy; every pool is built locally by a Naturi Artisan.

How the Naturi Artisan program works

Naturi supplies the contractor with what the build requires: materials, technical guidance, and marketing support, with Naturi construction advisors available by phone and email throughout.

Contractors who join become Naturi Artisans. The path starts with a conversation and an application, followed by consultation on the Sorgiva® method. Naturi’s national traveling construction team is available for on-site consultation during a first build. After that, Artisans order materials as their projects come in, with construction advisors a phone call away. Each Naturi Artisan builds as an independent contractor.

“I’ve been building backyards since 1986, and I’ve been with Naturi since it first came to America. A Naturi pool lets me shape the water the same way I shape the landscape around it, and for a small company like mine, it’s a backyard my clients can’t get anywhere else in town. I build every one myself, and in all these years the people at Naturi have been nothing but reliable. They’re people I trust,” said Lowell Brauser, owner of Loch Ness Pools in Oklahoma City.

“Most of the contractors walking the floor at Equip already know how to move earth, set grade and work with stone,” said Francis Leogrande, Director of Naturi. “What they haven’t had is a pool they can build with those same skills and put their name on. That’s what we’re bringing to Louisville — and we’d rather show it to them in the demo yard than describe it across a table.”

Who it fits

Naturi is built for swimming Pool Pros and Home Improvement Pros who already sell the backyard as a finished space. Hardscape contractors bring the excavation, base preparation, and stonework knowledge the system depends on. Landscape design-build firms already selling lighting, irrigation, and fire features gain the centerpiece of the spaces they already design. Pool builders gain a premium product that no competitor down the road can quote against.

A note for distributors

Distributors serving the landscape, hardscape, and pool trades are invited to visit Booth 42109 to discuss carrying the Naturi line. Every Naturi installer has access to Naturi construction advisors by phone or email, and on-site consultations are also available. Arrangements are structured around a distributor’s existing relationships with its contractors. Conversations are welcome at the show.
