The Mob Museum to Launch “The Untapped Story” Beer Tasting Experience in Las Vegas

Las Vegas’ Mob Museum has a new summer offering: “The Untapped Story,” which pairs craft beer tastings with Prohibition-era history. Visitors will discover how beer was connected to the mob/organized crime while sampling different kinds of beer. This limited-time program provides visitors with a fun and interactive way to experience the Museum and the city’s unique history.

According to a press release from the Mob Museum, The Untapped Story visits will be available Monday-Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. this June through August, the offering combines a 60-minute educator-guided Museum tour plus time in The Underground distillery.

For those who also wish to preview the Museum independently, tickets also include general admission beginning at 5 p.m. Participating guests will receive a commemorative souvenir pint glass.

Tickets are available for $69 per person or $49 for Museum Members. Tours are limited to just 24 guests each evening. For $599, groups may reserve a private tour for up to 10 guests. About The Underground

The Underground is an immersive Prohibition history exhibition featuring a speakeasy, distillery and private VIP room in the basement of The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement. Artifacts from the 1920s and 1930s tell the intriguing story of the Prohibition era, which not only saw a proliferation of bootlegged booze and the meteoric growth of organized crime outfits but also had a profound, lasting impact on society, specifically making way for modern cocktail culture. A seasonal cocktail menu gives guests the opportunity to try contemporary takes on classic Prohibition-era cocktails.
